Need for Innovation
Currently the AgriFood sector is not fully supportive for radical innovation to thrive and scale. We want to enable entrepreneurs, SME and large enterprises to have access to all the resources they need.
Innomics, Youth Food Movement and Food HUB organize the Open AgriFood Accelerator, AgriFood Academy and several impact projects to develop, grow and activate the Agri and Food innovation ecosystem.
Build, activate and grow the Ecosystem
The Open AgriFood Accelerator will bring together talent, startups, large enterprises and more to activate and grow a support system for innovation in Agri-Food-Tech.

We want to enable next-generation AgriFood business. Accelerating teams and educate people with a new mindset, skillset and toolset. In the Open AgriFood Accelerator around 10 teams from large enterprises, SME’s, universities, students, entrepreneurs and start-ups get to work on their business idea for a period of 13 weeks, supported by LEAN Startup coaches, experiment designers, growth hackers, designers and developers. They will validate their ideas, following an Agile approach and by running multiple experiments. At the end of the accelerator, ideas will be presented at DEMO Day, ready to be scaled!
End of October 2016, we will kick off the second Open AgriFood Challenge. Startups, SME’s, large enterprises and the public are invited to submit innovative ideas for a better food future. So don’t hesitate to submit your own idea for a unique chance to work with leading companies and experts in the AgriFood industry.
